The Right - Short Film

A naive boy's image of the future is torn apart when a feud of morals and wealth divides his parents.

The Right is a tragedy drama about a couple named Catherine and Burkhard, who are forced by their town's leaders to print false stories in their newspapers to support their son, Wilbert. Catherine wants to speak the truth. Burkhard wants to create a life of wealth. Wilbert wants to live carefree with his family. But each must deny the dream of another to achieve their own. We may each have the right to pursue our ideal future, but is it right to stand on the futures of those around us to create that ideal?
